About Sra. Morrison:
I have been happily teaching Elementary Spanish to Bear Tavern students since the year 2000. Prior to teaching in Hopewell Valley, I taught English to adults in Buenos Aires, Argentina and studied Spanish in Spain and in Costa Rica. I have been hooked on learning about Spanish culture and speaking Spanish since my first trip to Puerto Rico in 7th grade! Though I started as an English major in college, I added a Spanish major because I love to speak and learn Spanish. I have been lucky to have visited such wonderful places as: Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Uruguay. My dream is to visit Peru and see Machu Picchu! I continue to study Spanish, even now, by listening to CNN en español and talking with Spanish-speaking friends. I feel so fortunate to share my love for Spanish with students. I live in Ewing with my husband (who teaches at Stony Brook), my twin daughters and dos gatos.
